Please note our Campgrounds will now be closed to campers from November 1st 2008 through March 1st 2009...Day use will still be permitted by members only.
The LVPOA Private Campgrounds Here is where members and the guests of members can stay
right by the water and enjoy beautiful Lake Travis!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT GUESTS OF MEMBERS: Guests
of RESIDENT members can register themselves upon arrival by following
the registration process outlined below. Once we have verified locally
that the guest is sponsored by the named member you may stay in our
campgrounds. If the resident member is unavailable or not currently in
Lago Vista the guest will not be able to stay in our campgrounds. There must be a responsible party locally available for the LVPOA to contact in case of problems arising with the guest. All members are responsible for the actions and conduct of their guests. For this reason, Guests
of NON RESIDENT members must be accompanied by the member while camping in the campgrounds at all times.
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
The
membership check in process is very easy. When you have chosen an appropriate campsite, you will find the RED
pre-registration card on your post. Please fill this out before you
setup. A campground attendant will soon be by to check you in. Once you
have been checked in, your RED slip will be replaced by a YELLOW
slip noting your departure date. The sponsoring member will be billed
for the guests stay so it is up to guests to settle up with the
member. We will not accept payments at the LVPOA campgrounds. It is against LVPOA policy to set up a campsite in advance of
your planned stay. Any equipment found to be unattended overnight will
be promptly removed the following day by Campground staff. Motor Homes
will be forbidden from staying and forced to leave once the owner has
returned. Please stay with your stuff!
We have a colorcoded system so you can find the proper
amperage for your camping needs. Please follow all signs and campground rules
to find the spot that fits your needs. Campers settled in sites with
inappropriate electrical needs will be relocated or charged the full price of the site...(ie: no tents in the 50amp
campsites). There
is a 2 tent per site limit. If you have more than that you will need to
pay for a second site. Each guests' camping arrangement will be charged
to the member. Members will be charged for guests that are camping on
the same site as the property owner. There is a 2 Site limit for
members on major
holiday weekends. There is no such limit during other times. Members
are responsible for the conduct of their guests. The rights and
privileges of such persons are subject to suspension under adopted
rules and regulations to the same extent as member/tenants. The
LVPOA Campgrounds has a 14 day limit for campers. You must than vacate
for 30 days before returning. If you need to arrange a longer stay, you
must contact the LVPOA for permission at 267-2895 and ask for
Gregg Evans. Each
member is entitled to 14 free days each calendar year. This is not
accumulitive. Once a member has used the 14 free days, they will be
charged the member pricing (see below). 2008 rates at the LVPOA Campgrounds are as follows: LVPOA Members in good standing who have used up their 14 free days: 20amp Tents & Campers NO AC (Green Color Code) $10 daily 30amp Trailers & Motor Homes AC OK (Red Color Code) $15 Daily 50amp Motor Homes AC OK (Blue Color Code) $20 Daily Guests of LVPOA Members in good standing:
