President’s
Message
Based on membership feedback
obtained from last
year’s survey, along with the challenges of our ever-growing community
and the
responsibility to manage LVPOA finances in a prudent manner, the Board
of Directors,
along with our General Manager, decided to focus on some key initiatives
for
2008. I’m also very pleased to say that through the active
participation of
board members and LVPOA staff, many of the initiatives shown below are
now well
under way.

2008 YTD update
Income
Revenue:
(i)
Currently, we’ve collected $1,118,817 in 2008 annual assessments which
means
approximately 80% of all property owners have paid.
Our active account records also show a total
of approximately $580,274 is still owed by some members of the association, (ii) Reminder postcards have been sent to all association members with
accounts
which are past due, both for the year 2008 and for prior years. These postcards outline
late fees, loss of
privileges and other consequences. We encourage all members with past
due
accounts to contact the LVPOA office at (512) 267-2895 to discuss payment
options.

Vehicle Identification Members
are doing a great job displaying their vehicle identification. It is important that their guests do so as well.
Displaying the member sticker gives our Rangers the best chance of keeping our parks private. If you do not have a sticker and you want one click here!

Beginning this fall 2008
the campground will close down for the winter. We were just not
getting enough business to justify keeping it open. It will
close early November and will reopen for spring break.
