Manager's Report (Continued)
The largest capital projects that the Association took on this year was restoring the Bar-K Recreation Center and adding a park at Emerald Cove. As you can see by the survey the jury is still out on what the Association will do with Bar-K Recreation Center. Your opinion will help guide us in the correct direction. The first and most important phase of Emerald will be completed this year. Other capital improvments included:
- Bar-K Recreation Center (10K)
- Inside Demolition
- Face lift for the K-Oaks Clubhouse (37K)
- Retired K-Oaks Loan (73K)
- New dressing room furniture
- New long-lasting vinyl floor
- Upgrade sound system
- Matching attached storage shed
- Backyard lighting
- Surveyed and replatted 17.5 acres
- Improvements to the Activity Center (28K)
- Three new energy-efficient air conditioners
- Tiled Bluebonnet room, kitchen and hall
- Added defibrillator
- New card tables and chairs
- New swimming pool furniture (7K)
- Parks (180K)
- Emerald - new park
- Gates/Cameras at Cody, Emerald & Campground
- Upgrade trash receptacles
- Information booth
- Knox boxes
- Workshop fence
- Little League fence
- Campground Infrastructure (5K)
- Marina (5K)
- Sold attenuator (55K proceeds toward marina loan )
- Cable replacement
- Camera system
