General Manager Report (Continued)

The Bar-K, as you know, was flooded last year. The BOD has decided not to rebuild the main ballroom but instead to turn it into a pavilion. The Johnson room will be rebuilt to withstand flooding with minimal damage.

Here are a couple of pictures of the inside of the Bar-K and Johnson room today. As you can see, we have removed most of the sheet rock and insulation. The BOD has approved Phase I which is to rebuild the Johnson room.

This is a pavilion at Flat Creek and is one conception of what the pavilion could look like when finished. It is only one of many ideas.

               

We have always appreciated your feedback. This is our first year to publish a Newsletter on the website only. Of course, if you wish to have a printed copy, you may download it by clicking here. The Fall Newsletter will be mailed to you as it will contain the ballot for candidates running for the Board of Directors in 2009.

We hope to continue publishing the Spring Newsletter online as it saves us over $7,000.00. Please help us decide. Your feedback is important.
